Who are the office bearers on a strata committee?

The members of the strata committee need to elect three office bearers at their first meeting:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

Individual committee members cannot make decisions on behalf of the committee, but the office bearers can perform the tasks that fall within their roles.

If an office bearer passes away, resigns or ceases to be a committee member, a new office bearer must be appointed to fill in the role until the next AGM.
