Need an emergency repair?

At Fresh Strata we will act swiftly to satisfy all repair requests, keeping you informed along the way. We also have a team of local, trusted and highly-experienced out of hours tradespeople available for emergency repairs 24/7.

If you need a repair during our office hours, 9am-5.00pm Monday – Friday, please contact our office or your strata manager for assistance. Outside of office hours, please contact our emergency repair team, who will ensure a suitably qualified emergency repairer is sent to your property to complete any urgent repairs which cannot wait until normal business hours.

The following is a list of common Emergency Repairs:

  • Failure of Electrical, Gas or Water supply
  • Common property garage door jamming
  • Burst water pipe
  • Sewer blockage
  • Smashed common property windows/doors
  • Impact damage that impedes access to the building or makes it structurally unsound
  • Storm Damage – resulting in water ingress or structural damage creating a safety issue

Don’t forget to call 000 for life threatening emergencies or the NSW SES (132 500) if you have experienced damage from storms, wind, hail or a fallen tree, or if a tree branch is threatening your home.

If your emergency is in relation to your building’s lift, please contact the building’s lift operator. This information can generally be found in the building foyer or inside the lift.

The following fees are payable by your scheme for the use of this service:

Fees for emergency contractors are charged between $160-$170 + GST per hr – this includes their travel time, plus any materials/plant/equipment (sale or hire) if applicable. These fees may be higher for jet blasting.

This rate excludes dangerous work and sublet work, i.e. specialist contractors which we have no control over, including Telstra, AGL, Energy Australia or private lift companies.

Please note that a charge of $99 may be incurred for contacting the afterhours emergency line number and speaking with a member of the team for non-emergencies.

PLEASE NOTE: If you decide to use this service for a private repair or a common property repair that is not an emergency, you may be personally liable for any costs incurred.

For non-emergency repair issues please contact Fresh Strata during business hours, Mon-Fri 9am – 5.00pm.

Tenants should refer to their Residential Tenancy Agreement for emergency contacts relating to their tenancy
