With a strong background and years of experience working in customer-facing roles such as real estate management, human resources and marketing, Diane has always excelled at and thoroughly enjoyed helping solve her client’s problems.
However, it was actually her own experience as a client of Fresh Strata that led her to join the Fresh Strata team.
“I wanted to be a responsible committee member and do the right thing in my position as the secretary of the strata committee, so I decided the best way to learn about strata was to get my own strata licence.
“Once I began studying for my strata licence I realised not only enjoyed the topics I was studying…I actually loved learning about the entire strata industry!
“Nathan was the strata manager for our building, so as a client of Fresh Strata I had already experienced their customer service and I knew their strong family values. When he asked me to join the Fresh Strata team I really felt like a family member.”
As a life-long lover of education and problem solving, Diane welcomes the challenges and the variety of work that comes with being a strata manager, especially working for a smaller, family-based business.
“I enjoy asking the right questions to discover the cause of a problem and then using that knowledge to help our clients find the solution. Everyday I get to learn something new that lets me add value to our service.
“Because Fresh Strata is a smaller organisation we all work with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and a range of strata buildings. Every strata scheme faces its own particular challenges – there is so much variety in this work!”
Outside of work, Diane loves nothing more than clearing her mind as she explores the natural beauty of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore and beyond.
You’ll either find her 10-15 metres underwater scuba diving at Shelly Beach, Clifton Gardens and the Great Barrier Reef or walking 10-15 km and more in the solitude of the Kuringai National Park, the Royal National Park or the Blue Mountains.
